A year in review 2021

Like many others, Orion is a survivor through numerous lockdowns, impacted sales, and adapted to business operations’ evolving changes. Our strength shines through our resilience and tenacity in these adverse climates. We are grateful for those who have been with us through these challenging times.

1. A Completion Success

In March 2021, we completed the construction of stage two of Nelson Bourke in Ringwood, a project that came about from the sell-out success of the first stage. The flawless delivery of 8 Bourke was from close supervision and high-quality construction standards, which has won unanimous praises from our buyers.

Additionally, this remarkable project, a collaboration with CK Architecture has been declared the winner of the Design Matters National Building Design Awards 2021 (Multi-Residential Over $6M).

2. Another Accolade for the Shelves

In November 2021, stage two of Nelson Bourke won the Design Matters 2021 National Architecture Design Award (a medium-density residential project valued above $6M), following their stage one UDIA 2019 Outstanding Development Project Award and the 2020 National Architectural Design Award. This multi-award-winning project, Nelson Bourke, has set the benchmark for all future projects of Orion to deliver nothing short of excellence.

3. Giving Back to Our Healthcare Heroes

This year, Orion supported the Eastern Health Foundation’s “Staff Development Scholarship Program”, sponsoring Rhys, a staff member of the nursing team, the opportunity to further his studies at Southern Cross University.

In October 2021, Orion launched a “Kindness Movement”, joining hands with Epworth Eastern Hospital to provide free coffee for all medical staff in Epworth, showing them a little warmth, kindness and gratitude.'
